When I got engaged and started planning my own wedding, I quickly realized how much FUN it was to plan everything. Wedding planning slowly took over my life and I spent all of my free time scrolling through Pinterest and making spreadsheets (SO many spreadsheets) for every single detail of my big day. I started to think about a career in wedding and event planning but ended up talking myself out of it because I was so comfortable with where I was in life. My fiancé ended up encouraging me to take the risk and give it a try. I reached out to some venues and Hillside Events in Roca, NE gave me a chance so I started working for them as a planner & day-of coordinator!

I started Sage Events shortly after, named after my daughter Evelyn Sage. I'm learning more about the industry everyday but I'm so happy with my life as a wedding & event planner! I love getting to meet the couples I work with and see the depth of their love.
